Our Studio
Enjoy the View Photography is owned and operated by a husband and wife photography team, Beth & Mike Severn. We began this exciting journey of photographing weddings in 2002. Our studio is located in Clio and we are happy to travel! A few locations where we frequently photograph weddings include Frankenmuth, Saginaw, Bay City, Grand Blanc, Fenton, Midland, Freeland, and Birch Run. We focus on improving our craft and product offerings by actively pursuing continuing education opportunities. We are proficient in both natural light photography and off-camera flash. We offer high quality print and album products to complete your wedding experience.
Beth & Mike Severn
We are lighthearted and easygoing people, which means we bring a relaxed, calming energy to your wedding photography experience. We love working together and feel extremely blessed to be able to do so. We compliment each other’s strengths and weaknesses (in photography and in life). Marriage is so important to us and we take a lot of pride in being able to celebrate with our couples on the first day of the rest of their lives.
We love our career and genuinely care about our clients. Wedding days are full of raw emotion and capturing a plethora of authentic moments is incredible. By the end of a wedding day, we have made new friends and we have stopped time for them. We have documented all of those little things that will play a big part in how they remember their wedding day. They will show these photographs to their children who will get to know the younger, newly-in-love version of their parents through our eyes. We are honored to be a part of that story and have this be a part of our legacy as well.
On a personal note, our faith is top priority in our lives and we have two beautiful children - a son and a daughter. We enjoy hosting get-togethers with friends, traveling, being outdoors, hiking, and boating. Music is an integral part of our lives and Mike plays guitar and serves as our church’s worship leader weekly.
Brianna Woods
Bri is our amazingly talented studio associate and staff photographer. We have had the pleasure of knowing her for many years - and to know her is to love her! Her experience includes 8 years as a wedding photographer and several years as a traveling photojournalist. Raised in Michigan, she has spent the last several years of her life traveling the globe for pleasure and business, including mission work and living abroad in Japan for 4 and a half years. We are excited to have her back in the States and as part of our team. Bri got married in October 2017 so she understands the stress and joy of wedding planning since she recently went through it herself!
Bri's adventurous spirit and quick wit make her a joy to be around. She has a fondness for organization and is great at being efficient and productive while remaining pleasant and upbeat. Her attention to detail and love of catching candid moments really shine through in her work.
When she is not photographing someone or something, editing, designing, or holding the studio together with her mad coordination skills, she enjoys cooking (especially Japanese food), crafts/DIY, spending time with her big bearded husband (they love grilling in the summer) and traveling to new places.
Our Philosophy
Our goal is to provide our couples with an amazing, stress-free experience. We make it a priority to help you relax and enjoy every step of your wedding photography process. We are happy to answer questions and give advice on your timeline and all things wedding! On your wedding day, we will concentrate on capturing events as they unfold naturally but step up as needed to help pose you and offer suggestions to help you look your best. One of our greatest strengths is helping people feel comfortable in front of the camera!
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord." Colossians 3:23
